A public center that teaches underprivileged people a dying local art form and equips them with methods to revive it.

 

In the age of technology, the crafts and their spaces have become obsolete. The ideas of thresholds and realms, so apparent in the craftsmen’s homes, were the driving ideas in creating workspaces.  In an attempt to revive the crafts, the thesis aimed to understand and recreate the character of these spaces in the present day scenario.
